Kids Classes

LEVEL I+ Kid Ninja

This exciting session is great for those who are new and those who want to continue to progress their baseline ninja skills. The class can be repeated and kids will advance their skills from whatever is their current skill level. The session introduce, develop and advance baseline Ninja Warrior skills for your youngster! Kids of any fitness level will progress through 9 weeks (8 weeks of classes plus a competition week). Classes intended to develop strength, agility, balance, coordination and confidence. The class meets once a week for one hour.

After the 8th class, there will be a fun kids’ ninja warrior competition where students will have a chance to run through a course that highlights the skills that they learned throughout the session.

Example obstacles that kids can be exposed to in the session: Quad steps, swinging rings, ring toss, monkey bars, various balance obstacles, cargo net, rope climb and the warped wall! (This is not a prescriptive list… Obstacles and focus area will vary from week to week.)

For students that have taken classes previously... training will be adapted to advance skills from whatever is the student's current skill level. ALL students will have an opportunity to advance skills, regardless of whether they have taken a class previously. Each participant’s performance will be assessed throughout the session to determine if the participant has developed the necessary skills to progress to a level 2 class in a subsequent session. Level 1 can also be repeated.

LEVEL II+ KID NINJA

The Level II Kid Ninja session will be focused on advancing the skills of kid ninjas ages 6-13. More advanced/challenging obstacles and advanced techniques will be taught. Great option for kids who have potential future interest in competing in ninja warrior competitions. Course is 9 weeks (8 weeks of classes plus a competition week). Classes intended to develop strength, agility, balance, coordination and confidence. The class meets once a week for one hour.

After the 8th class, there will be a fun kids’ ninja warrior competition where Level II students will have a chance to run through a challenging course that highlights the skills that they learned throughout the session.

Example obstacles that kids can be exposed to in the session: Quad steps, sonic curve, swinging rings, ring toss, peg board, monkey bars, slackline, balance spools, cliffhanger and the warped wall! (This is not a prescriptive list… Obstacles and focus area will vary from week to week.)

Intended for students/ninjas who desire to compete in ninja warrior competitions at a local, regional or national level. Competition age groups include: 6-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-15, 16-17

Classes will be broken into sub-groups as determined by Strive coaches.
